Serenity: Day 4 - Bukit Merah Laketown Waterpark

Woke up early in the morning with a big Smile on my face. =) Getting prepared and feeling excited on our very last journey in Taiping for this CNY. "The Bukit Merah Waterpark adventure..."

DBB work there as a lifeguard about 10 years ago. Stories from him as a part-time lifeguard are fascinating...

Stories about their swimming training before work that he went through, the cash Money they've always "fished" by the water filter, the evening-sexy-tourism from all around the world, eg: Japanese, Hongkies, the guai-lous and etc etc...

I've also heard about the U-shape Boomerang, Giant Wet Bubble (challenge: climb up without using the rope !) and many many more. I'll share some of Bukit Merah Laketown Resort details that I've found from the web for your convenient. =)

Waterpark

Straddling an area of 11 acres, it is one of the largest in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia.
The 14 Attractions in the park : Boomerang, Giant Wet Bubble, Sandy Beachfront Wave Pool, Water Speed Slides, Body Slides, Giant Tube Rides, Activity Pool, Lazy River, Perak Mining Company, Kids Adventure River, Jumbo Shower, Water Pillar, 'Mandi Timba' and Waterfall Bridge.
The Boomerang has become an exhilarating ride and the first and only one of its kind in this country and in South East Asia.

Take the twin-seater cable chair ride to enjoy a 'Spectacular' view as it takes you over the Waterpark to see the scenic view of Bukit Merah Lake. This 600-meter ride is the only one of such attraction in Malaysia.

Skycycle

Another way to explore the native rainforest, this time through pedal power! Another first for Malaysia, this attraction is an elevated monorail through the tree canopy that allows riders to have a bird's eye view of the surroundings and Pets Park whilst pedalling your own special car.
